Purchase just continues to amaze me. I've met the coolest group of people ever, and every day i just get more and more excited to attend my dream school. It's only May, but I'm counting down to September already. I've already got the workings of a band assembled, so I can fulfill yet another dream when I actually get down there. Plus, I'll be studying shit I want to study instead of Hebrew, so add that to the huge pile of awesome that is just a few months away :D ... I'm reaching the stage of guitar playing where I feel as if I can write full, coherent songs. It's probably a lot of bravado, but with some practice, who knows?
Strawberry Festival was really cool, Jeff The Brotherhood in particular. Can't wait to see them live agin, they really tore shit up. I'll post a picture or two when I find them floating around online (maybe). Concerts in general have been really awesome lately. Plus, good stuff coming up. Pavement in September, New Pornographers in June, Modest Mouse in July. We shall see. Bunch of other stuffs thrown in at the last second. For now, I'll leave you with this, the saddest sight human eyes have seen:

People may disagree with me but I don't care: I totally agree with you. I couldn't wait to get to college as soon as I knew where I was going. I was counting down the days. I think the only people who say "you'll miss it so much" are the ones who will not got the opportunity you are getting...I think you know exactly what I mean...Just for another analogy of why you're right...Check out two Judd Apatow TV shows "Freaks and Geeks" (high school) and "Undeclared" (college). Which period did Apatow believe was a better part of youth? The show's speak for themselves.
I've yet to see Undeclared, but i think I see what you're saying.
