There's this ridiculously stupid Italian girl [we call her Monique] who sits in front of me in Introduction To Media. Everything that comes out of her mouth is pure fucking gold, and I intend to begin writing down a few quotes of hers and posting them here...

A few examples:

(Talking about bedbugs in class) "Wait, those are real? I thought they were a figure of speech."

(Talking about film critics like Roger Ebert) "I don't get it, how is that a job? They just, like, make fun of stuff all day?"

The entire class relishes in what she says, hanging on her every last word for a laugh....

In other news, this is the first quality time I've spent with the Purchase Pals in a while. We're currently working on a Zine called Brown Town... the first issue should be done by next week, and super-talented Alyssa is doing the artwork. Bob Saget's on the cover, and there's some pretty stupid shit inside, so it's worth checking out. One excerpt I chose to include was a memorable speech about respect given at ATP 2009... we've transcribed it in all its juicy details. We're also trying to get an interview or two from ATP 2010... WHICH IS TONIGHT!!!! Get psyched!
